For more than 23 years, Shirelle has provided training and development services to executive leadership teams, senior management, small business executives, non-profit boards, Community Development Corporations, religious organizations, and units of local and state governments. For the past several years, she has shared her expertise with the MaxLife Team.
Shirelle’s extensive background in working with for-profit corporations, Federal, State, and local government and a variety of non-profit housing and human service organizations has served her well, enabling her to continually sharpen and master her training, technical writing, and project management skills.
In her former executive roles as a housing and community development practitioner, Shirelle achieved advanced levels of proficiency in policy and procedure development, strategic planning, and organizational development. As a passionate advocate for personal development and “people building,” Shirelle has devoted countless hours to counseling and coaching individuals to help bring clarity to their personal vision and has assisted numerous organizations with capacity building and organizational sustainment.
More recently, Shirelle has devoted a significant portion of her time to the delivery of content-specific training around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). In her delivery of organizational analysis and training, she now strategically incorporates immersive topics on conversational transparency and strategies for effective engagement of employees. Achieving organizational effectiveness, including the development of tools for improving employee retention, recruitment, and evaluation, remains as one of her primary professional passions. Shirelle holds a B.S in Geography and Urban Planning from Appalachian State University and Certifications in MBTI and Executive Management and Leadership.
